Brent, WTI see price declines

Crude oil prices were down Thursday.
May contracts for West Texas Intermediate crude were 73 cents lower to $104.10 per barrel on Thursday afternoon while Brent crude for May delivery dropped 39 cents to $103.36 per barrel on the ICE Futures Europe exchange in London.
Nymex May gasoline dropped 5 cents to $2.73 per gallon while May heating oil added 1 cent to $2.96 per gallon while May natural gas dropped 35 cents to $9.48 per million British thermal units.
The price of gold was up in New York.
June gold was up $9.50 to $909.70 per troy ounce, while May silver added 28 cents to $17.46 per troy ounce while July platinum gained $48.30 to $2,012.90 per troy ounce.
Among base metals, May copper added 2 cents to $3.90 per pound in New York while three-month copper in London added $31 to $8,580 per tonne, or $3.89 per pound.
London Metal Exchange inventories added 500 tonnes on the session.
Among grains, May rough rice hit a new record at $20.35 per bushel on the Chicago Board of Trade on the possibility that demand will rise above supply before easing back slightly to a gain of 41 cents to $20.20 per bushel.
CBOT May soybeans were 13 cents higher to $12.56 per bushel and May corn added 5 cents to $6.01 per bushel but May wheat dropped 6 cents to $9.30 per bushel.
