Virgin Media develops via Carphone Warehouse

A spokesperson for uSwitch.com has commented that Carphone Warehouse, through its 783 high street stores, is offering customers the opportunity to sign up to Virgin Media’s full portfolio of services which includes broadband, digital TV, home phone and mobile.

In the past, Carphone Warehouse has offered only broadband via TalkTalk, AOL and Orange. It is anticipated that other retailers will do the same and enhance the range of offers available on the high street.

However, uSwitch.com added that in spite of Carphone Warehouse’s claim to be offering unbiased broadband advice, the company is only offering 2 home broadband services aside from their own – TalkTalk and AOL. There are a many providers missing from Carphone’s portfolio, such as PlusNet (currently at the top of their Customer Satisfaction poll), whereas Orange and TalkTalk, are at the bottom.

uSwitch.com offer impartial advice to consumers and recommend that consumers visit comparison sites to get the best deal presented in an unbiased format.
