Euro gains on greenback, yen

The US dollar weakened on Monday, with the greenback down 0.4 percent versus the euro by late afternoon trade in New York to $1.3602 to the euro.
Meanwhile, the dollar also fell 0.4 percent to SFr1.204 versus the Swiss franc and was 0.3 percent lower in relation to the Australian dollar to A$1.1701, while it traded at ¥119.08 in relation to the yen and at $2.025 against the pound.
The yen was also lower versus the euro, dropping 0.8 percent to ¥163.03, while it was at ¥241.1715 in relation to the pound.
