Oil prices mixed

Crude oil prices were mixed on Monday.
While Brent crude for August delivery added 63 cents to $76.25 per barrel on the Intercontinental Exchange in London, August contracts for West Texas Intermediate crude was 79 cents lower to $72.02 by early afternoon in New York.
Nymex August gasoline added 3 cents to $2.34 per gallon, while Nymex August heating oil was trading even at $2.10 per gallon.
September contracts for Nymex natural gas, meanwhile, had dropped 3 cents to $6.53 per million British thermal units.
Precious metals prices were higher, while base metals remained mixed.
August gold added $7.70 to $662.50 per troy ounce in New York as investors speculated that the dollar will fall and increase demand for metals as safer investments.
September silver was higher as well, adding 6 cents to $12.82 per troy ounce in New York, while October platinum gained $6.90 to $1,318 per troy ounce.
In base metals, copper prices were higher in London on Monday, rising above the $8,000 level for the first time since May but later dropping back to trade at $7,985 per tonne by the close of trade, still a gain of 1.6 percent on the session.
In New York, September copper was 4 cents higher to $3.63 per pound.
Elsewhere, lead added 3.2 percent to $2,955 per tonne after rising to an all-time high of $2,962 earlier in the session, while aluminium held steady at $2,812 per tonne and nickel fell 2.8 percent to trade at $34,300 per tonne.
