Crude oil, metals prices mixed

Metals prices were mixed on the session Tuesday. Lead was 1 percent ower to $2,345 per tonne, while copper and aluminium each dropped 0.8 percent, with copper at $7,650 per tonne and aluminium selling for $2,802.5 per tonne. On the other hand, gold added 0.2 percent to $671.55 per troy ounce on the session.

Crude oil prices were also mixed, with Brent crude 17 cents higher to $70.57 per barrel on the Intercontinental Exchange but West Texas Intermediate crude for July delivery falling 63 cents in mid-afternoon trade on the New York Mercantile Exchange, to $65.58 per barrel. Nymex July gasoline was also lower, down 4 cents to $2.20 per gallon, while heating oil held steady at $1.97 per gallon. Natural gas, meanwhile, was 13 cents lower to $8.06 per million British thermal units.
